My Approach to Therapy
My philosophy and approach to therapy are based in helping individuals and families identify and use their personal and collective strengths. I provide a safe and supportive environment where, using empirically supported techniques and a collaborative relationship, we develop insights and solutions to the situations with which you are struggling. My goals as a therapist are to help build coping skills, foster a sense of self in children as well as adults, enhance relationships with others, and sort through and face difficult life decisions and situations, while honoring each individual voice in the process. I use an eclectic mix of Cognitive Behavioral, Solutions Focused, Narrative and Psychoanalytical techniques.

Life is complex and very difficult at times, but if we are wiling we can find the ability to move forward in a positive and meaningful way.
