We offer counseling services for adolescents, adults, couples and families. Our therapists are trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques so they can match the the best type of therapy to the needs and goals of each individual client.

Individuals
When people seek therapy, they are often looking to find more meaning in their lives or to have more satisfying relationships. Sometimes people are looking to reduce stress and unhappiness overall or to make a career change. Others simply want to feel better or alleviate depression, anxiety etc. Whatever the reason you are seeking therapy, the professionals at Frankfort Counseling Associates are ready to assist you with a large variety of issues and concerns.

Children & Adolescents
Our therapists utilize a variety of talk, play and art therapy techniques. While confidentiality is an integral component of the therapy process, we believe it is essential for parents to be involved. Based on the age and needs of the client, parents can anticipate attending not only the initial assessment session but to periodically meet with their child's therapist.

Couples
We recognize that is is not always easy to begin couple's therapy. Our therapists partner with couples to create a comfortable and solution focused therapeutic experience. We not only assist clients to develop strategies to address the to current issues, but also support couples to develop an stronger foundation in their relationship. Sometimes we find both partners are not ready to participate in couple's therapy. At those times we encourage either partner to consider individual therapy. Often we are able to facilitate positive changes in the relationship when working with even one family member.

We also periodically offer support groups and educational workshops. Our clinical professionals are available for public speaking on a wide range of mental health issues.
