Jennifer Startz , MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker treating individuals including children, adolescents, and adults. Jennifer studied social work at the Illinois State University where she received her Bachelor's of Science. She then went on to earn her Master's of Social Work from Aurora University with a school social work concentration. Jennifer has her Type 73 certification and has been working as a school social worker in the area for the past 6 years. Jennifer's areas of practice include; anxiety, depression, self-injury, school refusal, Autism Spectrum Disorders, life adjustment issues, and stress management.

I believe therapy should be a collaborative approach between therapist and client and I will work with you to ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable therapeutic environment. In using Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused techniques my goal is to empower clients to use their strengths to develop solutions to life's challenges while supporting and guiding them through the process.
