Ann Polodna, MA, LCPC

Ann Polodna, MA, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor treating individuals, couples and families. She received her Master of Arts Degree from Governors State University in Marriage and Family Counseling. Ann has experience treating a variety of issues, having worked in both private practice and agencies with adults, children and adolescents. Ann also has additional training to deal with domestic violence situations and crisis intervention. Her areas of practice include depression, anxiety disorders, relationship problems, family conflict, adolescent issues, stress management, career issues, life transitions, eating disorders, grief and loss, social anxiety, domestic violence, chronic illness, and spiritual and faith issues.

Ann sees her role as helping people to overcome the obstacles to a more satisfying life. She considers it both a privilege and pleasure to be a counselor. As such, Ann sees herself as a partner in the therapy process, helping whomever she works with to move forward in ways that they believe are satisfying and meaningful. She is a member of the Illinois Counseling Association and the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association.
